Baked Apple & Banana Oatmeal

Notes:

Oats contain soluble fiber which may help to decrease the risk of glucose spikes in the bloodstream!
You can make this recipe once and then eat all week!

Ingredients

  • 2 cup Rolled oats, dry
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 medium Apple (diced)
  • 1 medium Banana(s) (sliced)
  • 4 cup Water
  • 1 cup Almond milk, unsweetened
  • 1/3 cup Dates (chopped or raisins)
  • 3/4 tsp Vanilla extract, pure

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
  • In large bowl, mix together oats, dates, cinnamon, and water. Stir in apples and banana; set aside.
  • Spray 8- x 8-inch (20- x 20-cm) baking dish. Pour mixture into baking dish and bake for 30 - 35 minutes or until golden brown
  • Mix in some plant milk at the time of serving. Serve warm.
